This is a technique that I learn from some top marketers in the network marketing profession. When you can understand your prospects personality type, you would know what motivates them and turn them off.
These are the 4 personality types in color and in elements and I will briefly go over each one.
First let’s go over the Yellow/Water personalities. These are the people who wants to help the world. Their strengths are they are very loyal and generally like to help others. Their weaknesses are they are easily walk over and taking advantage of. When you talking to someone with this type of personality you want to discuss how much they will help other people. They dislike confrontation. They dress in the way that doesn’t really draw a lot of attention to themselves.
Next we have your Blue/Wind personality types. These are the type of people who like to do it because it’s fun. Their strengths are they are very charismatic people and they know a lot of other people. Their weaknesses are they are very unorganized in very bad with follow up. When talking to this type of personally about your business, talk about how much fun it will be. They don’t like alarm clock and they don’t like rules. They like to be the center of attention so they going to dress in colors, something that would draw attention from others.
Now we’re gonna talk about the Green/Ice personality. These are the type of people who wants all of the info before making a decision. They’re what type of people who wants to know when the company started, who started the company and why they started the company. The strengths of this personality is they’re always on time, task oriented, dependable and extremely organized. They’re weaknesses is they take a long time to make a decision. They seem to over analyze everything which slows their production down. When your presenting your business to them, provide them with fax and websites they can research. They dislike people who are unorganize and cannot give them information. They don’t dress very flashy but they are extremely nice and neat and clean cut.
Finally we have the Red/Fire personality. These are people who are motivated by the flash, the money and the results. Their strengths are they are quick decision makers, they are your leaders and they like to get the job done and move on to the next. Their weaknesses, they are poor listeners and they are not easily trained. They seem to have the I know it all or I can do it better attitude. When presenting your business to them do not give them all of the facts, they’re going to get bored quickly. Tell them what the product is, let them k what the composition is and leave them alone. If they need you they’ll call you. They don’t like to take too long to make decisions or too much information. They like to wear your flashy watches, bracelets, necklaces and are attracted to luxury vehicles.
Now that you know the 4 personality types, their strengths, weaknesses and their style, you can use this information to arm yourself when building your business. We all have some of each of these personality types in us but there is one dominate type we operate from.

I like BWMs, Mercedes and Audis. I like big homes, with 3 car garages and marble counter topes. I get bores with long drawn out conversations. I hate being interruted when I’m trying to get something done. I join my primary company and talked to my sponsor after joining because he called me.
